This article is an addition to the paper ``Output prediction under scarce data operation: Control applications'' [\textit{P. Albertos, R. Sanchis} and \textit{A. Sala}, Automatica 35, 1671-1681 (1999; Zbl 0935.93058)]. The authors show how the stability can be analyzed for arbitary periodical missing data patterns. The results are illustrated by some examples.
