The paper is devoted to the analysis and state-feedback synthesis problems for linear parameter-varying sampled-data systems. It is assumed that the state-space data of the plant and the sampling interval depend on parameters that are measurable in real-time and vary in a compact set with bounded variation rates. The authors study the stabilization, energy-to-energy gain and energy-to-peak gain problems. Using a lifting approach, the analysis and synthesis problems are formulated for a linear parameter-varying discrete-time system. Both analysis and synthesis conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities that can be solved via efficient interior-point algorithms. A numerical example is presented to compare the proposed approach to traditional continuous-time design along with discretization.
