The author establishes an Iyengar-type inequality involving second-order derivatives. Compared with the recent known results, the new inequality does not involve the derivative of the midpoint of the interval, and it is an improvement for estimating some numerical integrations of particular differentiable functions such as \(f(t)=t^n\) in [0,1]. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEReviewers remark: It is useful for applications of estimating some numerical integrations.
