The authors study a plane motion of a rigid body with two massive legs. This hind leg is positioned on a support. After absolutely inelastic impact of the fore leg on the support, the hind leg may either remain on the support or leave it. The authors obtain some inequalities relating the center-of-mass coordinates of the body, its mass, and the moment of inertia to the distance between the legs' ends. If these inequalities are valid, then the hind leg may either remain in contact with the support or lose the contact.
