The paper is centred on the problem of oscillations in a rotating stratified fluid excited by a plane traveling wave at the bottom. The explicit solution is constructed, and its long-time asymptotic behavior is analyzed. Physical interpretation of the obtained results is discussed. This study continues an analysis of model problems describing excitation of oscillations in stratified rotating fluids by curvilinear segments.
