A surface-construction method is proposed for the parametric description of three-dimensional domains defined by given sets of points located on their boundaries. The method is based on two-dimensional polynomial approximation. It is shown that the approximating polynomial is characterized by guaranteed smoothness and monotonicity with respect to any variable.
