An approach to finding singular solutions to a general system of nonlinear equations (Q5954367)

A transformation method is proposed for a system of nonlinear equations of arbitrary dimension having singular solutions. This method reduces the finding a singular solution of that system to the finding of an isolated solution of a new system of equations; the latter problem can be treated by traditional methods. The operator of the system is required to satisfy the so-called nonsingularity condition for the second differential at the desired singular solution.
