Lower convex approximations of Lipschitzian functions (Q5954368)

The author has used a new method to construct lower convex approximations of Lipschitzian functions. The analysis of approximations of nonsmooth functions and the construction of optimization techniques based on those approximations comprise the main task of nondifferentiable optimization. The approach is useful for functions that fail to be quasi-differentiable, which is proved using an example of marginal functions.
