The author suggests and substantiates a numerical method for solving nonlinear inverse problems in the synthesis of radiating systems based on a given amplitude pattern. The method relies on a variational approach and on methods of nonlinear analysis. Euler equations for the functionals under study are used to construct iterative processes that generate minimizing sequences. Their relaxation properties are proved.
