Haar spectra of discrete convolutions (Q5954736)

The authors consider two sets of wavelet basis functions associated with the discrete Haar transform in the space of discrete periodic signals. The first basis is called the frequency-decimated Haar basis, and the second is called the time-decimated Haar basis. Analogues of the shift and convolution theorem are presented for these sets. In the case of frequency-decimated Haar basis, the theorems concern the dyadic shift and dyadic convolution.
