Using the classical Lekhnitskii's complex potential approach, the authors introduce four analytic functions \(\phi_k (z_k)\) to describe the elastic field in unsymmetric laminates. The complex arguments has the form \(z_k=x+\mu_k y\) on the plane of real variables \(x\) and \(y\), where \(\mu_k\) (\(k=1,2,3,4\)) are complex roots of characteristic equation. Boundary conditions corresponding to external forces and displacements take the form \(Re \sum_{k=1}^4 a_{mk}\phi_k (z_k)=f_m(x,y)\) \((m=1,2,3,4)\).
