The paper consists of a choice of problem solutions in multidimensional (\(n\)D) systems where Gröbner bases can be employed successfully. What is interesting is that some telecommunications applications are presented, too. These are: perfect reconstruction, \(n\)D IIR filter banks, stability of \(n\)D systems, and a multivariate polynomial matrix factorization.
