This paper presents a new model of grammar (Logical Description Grammar) and its associated syntax-semantics interface that uses descriptions in elementary logic. The basic idea is that a description may simultaneously describe the syntactic structure (via trees) and the semantics (via truth-conditions) of a natural language expression. In Section 2, the linguistic model is described. It is based on a relation of domination and a series of substitutions (i.e. additions of extra dominance edges). In Section 3, the author distinguishes three kinds of descriptions (general, input and lexical descriptions) and details parsing and adding features. Sections 4 and 5 develop tools in order that a logical description having exactly one tree + truth-condition as a model, completely specifies a grammatical object.
