In this paper the structure of quantum Dixmier algebras is studied, and completely prime Dixmier algebras are constructed. A classification result for quantum Dixmier algebras in a certain class is also given. This paper extends previous work of the author for \(sl(2)\) in [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 102, 89-102 (1995; Zbl 0851.17016)]. Classical counterparts of the material in this paper appear in \textit{I. Pranata}'s paper [J. Algebra 145, 263-278 (1992; Zbl 0762.17010)].
