At present there are some results that show for a family of similarities with overlaps that the Hausdorff dimension is almost surely equal to \(d\), where \(d\) is related to the Moran condition (see paper). However, so far the case with overlaps has not been completely analyzed. This note fills this gap and the authors present a lower estimate of the Hausdorff dimension for attractors which can be obtained by an overlapping construction.
