The paper describes stability conditions for a continuous-time linear system affected by different types of delays. It is assumed that the system is controlled by a linear state feedback obtained from quadratic optimal control. Sufficient stability conditions are formulated as delay-independent algebraic matrix inequalities. The only contribution consists in two more items (Theorems 2.2 and 2.3) to insert into the already very long collection of sufficient stability conditions for linear systems with delays. One may regret the absence of relevant recent references to the vast technical literature on the topic.
