Proof of a conjecture of Palamodov (Q5957466)

The author investigates the real asymptotic spectrum for an oscillating integral associated to a real analytic germ. V. P. Palamodov who introduced the notion of real asymptotic spectrum conjectured that this spectrum is not empty for any non-constant germ with a critical point. The author proves this conjecture using highly non-trivial techniques from distribution theory, singularity theory and subanalytic geometry. The proof is very well presented and contains deep and ingenious ideas.
