Mixed sparse-dense, symmetrical-unsymmetrical direct equation solution algorithms are developed, and utilized to fully exploit the special characteristics of the coefficient matrix of a system of linear (complex numbers) simultaneous equations. Numerical performance of the developed software is conducted, by performing a simplified Northrop-Grumman finite element-integral equation cavity model on the IBM-R6000/590 workstation.
