Generic polynomials over \(\mathbb Q\) with two parameters for the transitive groups of degree five. (Q595962)

The authors give generic polynomials \(f(U,V,X)\in{\mathbb{Q}}(U,V)[X]\) for all transitive subgroups of the symmetric group \({\mathfrak{S}}_5\). Since such polynomials are already known, the main feature of the paper under review is to give a unifying approach to all of these groups.
