The book is a collection of papers on turbulence. The first one is devoted to the theory of turbulence and new developments in it. In the second one, the Lagrangian statistics of relative dispersion in fully developed turbulence is investigated. The explanation of turbulence in superfluids is presented in the third paper. The fourth paper is devoted to the application of direct numerical simulations to channel flows where one of the walls is flat and on the other walls different boundary conditions are imposed or the shape of the boundary is modified. The fifth paper describes the results obtained by turbulent boundary layer modification for electrohydrodynamic flows. The sketch of turbulent drag reduction using riblets, spanwisewall oscillation, and compliant coating is given in the sixth paper. The seventh one describes the numerical simulations of electromagnetic turbulence control -- an innovative control technique for restructuring the boundary layer of a conducting fluid and reducing the viscous drag. The eighth paper provides an explanation for modeling the synthetic jet actuators -- a novel scheme for controlling flows. In the ninth paper the effectiveness of \(V\)-shaped manipulators for drag reduction is studied, and, finally, the tenth paper is a review of drag reduction by polymer additives.
