On the half-space theorem for minimal surfaces in Heisenberg space (Q5963065)

The author proposes what he calls ``a simple proof'' of the vertical half-space theorem for minimal surfaces in Heisenberg space. The proof is not simple by any means, but it is elementary in nature, and could be followed by a large audience of faculty, researchers, and graduate students in differential geometry. Besides some basic notions from geometric analysis and topology, the proof makes use of Riemannian metrics and associated connections. It is short, concise and clearly written.
