The following is proved: If the points P,Q,R divide the closed convex curve c into equal parts, then the parameter of the triangle PQR is \(\geq | c|\) (\(| c|\) denotes the length of c). Equality is attained iff c is an equilateral triangle and P,Q,R are midpoints of its sides.
