Determination of some lattice sum limits (Q596687)

The authors show that a certain limit relationship, which was conjectured by \textit{R. Shail} [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. 28, No. 23, 6999--7009 (1995; Zbl 0884.40001)], is shared by all \(k\)-dimensional NaCl type lattices, that is, by the quadratic form given by the following special positive-definite quadratic form in \(k\) variables: \[ Q= Q(x_1,\dots, x_k):= a_1 x^2_1+\cdots+ a_k x^2_k\qquad (a_j> 0;\;j= 1,\dots, k). \]
