Comments on: ``Distance geometry and data science'' (Q5970867)

In his comments on [\textit{L. Liberti}, Top 28, No. 2, 271--339 (2020; Zbl 07215401)] the author selects as his favorite among the many different algorithms proposed for Distance Geometry the diagonal dominance approximation to the semidefinite programming approach. He also wonders if the dimension reduction techniques Liberti discusses could improve the performance of support vector machinery upon a strong downsampling of the face images in a gender recognition educational example.
