In my paper ``On the extreme value theory for stationary diffusions under power normalization'' [Lith. Math. J. 44, No. 1, 36--46 (2004); translation from Liet. Mat. Rink. 44, No.~1, 44--56 (2004; Zbl 1082.60012)], the definition of the function \(\widetilde {F}_1\) on p. 38 must be modified in the following way: for \(r(F)>0\) and some \(0< x_0< r(F)\); \(\widetilde{F}_1(x)= F(e^x) \mathbf{1}_{[\log_{x_0,\infty})} (x)\), \(x\in R^1\).
