In the paper under review, a dual quaternion formalism for the group of rigid-body displacements and for the Lie algebra of the same group is presented. The maps from the Lie algebra to the group are introduced and studied. Different polynomial and matrix representations of these maps are considered and applied to finding relations for the inverse maps.
