This paper deals with the time-harmonic magnetostatic problem. In the discrete case, the authors introduce a coupled model based on the combination of the local discontinuous Galerkin method, the finite element method by using numerical fluxes, and a boundary integral method. By introducing a scalar potential and a vector potential, it is established a variational formulation associated to the continuous problem and it is deduced that this problem is well posed. In the final part of this paper it is deduced an optimal \textit{a priori} error estimate which implies the convergence of the discretization.
