A generalized Westervelt equation without interior damping with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions is considered. Such equations are widely used in ultrasound acoustic applications. The author proves boundary observability and boundary stabilizability by linear feedbacks for this equation. Local existence of the solution is also proved as well as global existence and exponential decay with absorbing type boundary conditions. Plans of further research are outlined.
