KP hierarchy for Hurwitz-type cohomological field theories (Q6102966)

The author provides a new viewpoint on a relation found by \textit{A. Alexandrov} [Commun. Math. Phys. 338, No. 1, 195--249 (2015; Zbl 1344.14032)]. More explicitly, he generalizes Kazarian's work to all hypergeometric KP tau-functions satisfying topological recursion. Moreover, this new idea can be used on other examples of explicit CohFTs including Chiodo classes. Finally, the author gives a new proof of the Marino-Vafa formula.
