An explicit formula for the second moment of Maass form symmetric square \(L\)-functions (Q6109908)

The authors prove an explicit formula, relating the second moment of the symmetric square \(L\)-function associated to a Maass eigenform for the full modular group to the dual second moments of the symmetric square \(L\)-functions associated to Maass cusp forms of levels 4, 16, and 64. The main tool of this highly technical work is a regularized Kuznetsov trace formula, obtained by the authors.
