The subject of this article includes not only Shintani formulas, Kronecker limit formulas for real quadratic fields, theta functions, Bernoulli numbers and polynomials, Euler gamma function, but also elliptic pseudodifferential operators applied to zeta functions. The author presents some results within the scope of these issues. The author also shows the following result: A new method for proving of some of Takuro Shintani's formulas regarding the Kronecker limit formulas for real quadratic fields.
