The authors give sufficient conditions over a category to prove the existence of left adjoint functors using suitable colimits. As application of this, they consider the category of G-graded vector spaces with trivial associativity and calculate G-graded version of Sweedler's classical finite dual construction, by explicitly describing the liftable pair of adjoint functors.
