Exact Morse index of radial solutions for semilinear elliptic equations with critical exponent on annuli (Q6165550)

This article is concerned with the study of radial solutions of \(-\Delta U=|x|^\alpha |U|^{p-1} U\) in an annular domain of \(\mathbb{R}^N\), subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. If \(N\geq 3\), \(\alpha>-2\) and \(p=\frac{N+2+2\alpha}{N-2}\) the author provides estimates for the Morse index which relate to the size of the annular domain.
