On \(N\)-distal homeomorphisms (Q6168220)

The authors introduce \(N\)-distal, \(N\)-equicontinuous and \(N\)-expansive properties and establish many interrelations with the corresponding well-known notions. Interesting examples are provided to show the difference between \(N\)- and \(M\)-distal. Here \(N\) and \(M\) are positive integers. For clarification: item (ii) of Lemma 3.2 could have been a definition as usually sup of an empty set is taken to be \(-\infty\).
