The author discusses the upper semicontinuity of pullback attractors of dynamical systems on Banach spaces under small nonautonomous perturbations in terms of the coupling of a certain range condition, a relative compactness condition and a limiting condition for vanishing perturbation, observing that this abstract setting is suitable for discussing weakly dissipative dynamical systems. The upper semicontinuity of the pullback attractors associated to a certain plate equation is then obtained as a byproduct.
