This paper deals with projection-difference methods for solving the Cauchy problem for a linear operator-differential equation. A technique for obtaining smooth approximate solutions constructed by the Faedo-Galerkin (Galyorkin) method depending on the smoothness of operators is described. Some asymptotic error estimates are presented.
