In the present paper, the authors investigate the existence of homoclinic orbits for a kind of second-order Hamiltonian systems with obstacle item. By using the linking theorem and the spectral theorem for strongly indefinite functionals, they prove the existence of homoclinic orbits for both the super-quadratic and the asymptotically linear cases.
