A new quantity in Finsler geometry (Q626068)

The author defines a new non-Riemannian quantity \(\widetilde{W}\) and call it \(C\)-projective Weyl curvature. He proves that, for a Finsler manifold of scalar flag curvature with dimension \(n\geq 3\), one has \(\mathbf{H}=0\) if and only if \(\widetilde{W}=0\), where \(\mathbf{H}\) is a non-Riemannian scalar function of special importance defined by Akbar-Zadeh on the slit tangent bundle. As a consequence of the authors' result, a new characterization of Finsler metrics of constant flag curvature is established.
