D. Partyka introduced the notion of generalized Fourier coefficients for a quasisymmetric homeomorphism. Recently, R. Kühnau gave some new characterizations of the Fredholm eigenvalue for a quasicircle by means of these generalized Fourier coefficients. The author answers here several questions posed by Kühnau.
