A discrete-time orthogonal spline collocation method is presented for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with wave operator. This scheme is constructed by using an orthogonal spline collocation approach with a finite element method. The conservation, convergence and stability of these methods are analyzed. Many numerical tests are carried out to confirm the theoretical results.
