The authors devise parameter-uniform numerical schemes for one-dimensional linear and quasilinear convection-diffusion two-point boundary-value problems with boundary turning points. The numerical methods consist of classical monotone finite difference operators on piecewise-uniform Shishkin meshes. \(\varepsilon\)-uniform error estimates are derived, numerical examples are provided in supporting the theoretical results.
