The authors study numerically the equation \[ \ddot x+\delta\dot x- x+ x^3= \gamma\cos\omega t. \] They show that bursting oscillations (= mixed mode oscillations) arise for \(\gamma> 2\sqrt{3}/9\) and that the distance between two spikes depend on \(\omega\).
