A comparison theorem for Gromov-Witten invariants in the symplectic category (Q635497)

The author proves a theorem that compares Gromov-Witten invariants counting stable maps meeting specified constrains in the ambient manifold with analogous counts of such maps to a submanifold containing the image of all such constrained maps to first order.This main result leads to confirm Pandharipande's Gopakumar-Vafa prediction for Gromov-Witten invariants of Fano classes in 6 dimensional symplectic manifolds.
