The authors study the two-dimensional quasi-linear system \[ x'= f(t)y,\;y' = -g(t)(x -\gamma(x))-h(t)y. \] Under the assumption that the zero solution of the linear approximation is not always uniformly attractive, the authors obtain sufficient conditions for uniform stability and asymptotic stability of the zero solution.
