The author studies the Riemann problem in three dimensions reduced to the problem of interaction of three shocks merging at a point. The flow is steady irrotational, subject to the Chaplygin equation of state. Existence of special waves described by a potential obeying a special free-boundary problem is proved. Existence and uniqueness of the triple interaction is shown. The asymptotics is described.
