This paper deals with the inequality \[ \langle u'(t)+ A(t) u(t)- f(t),\;v- u(t)\rangle+ \phi(t,v)- \phi(t,u(t))\geq 0. \] The authors present conditions on data under which there exists a unique solution of this problem and use the implicit Euler method which has first-order accuracy in the energy norm.
