\textit{T. Araya} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 137, No. 6, 1941--1944 (2009; Zbl 1163.13015)] proved a result related to vanishing of Ext of finitely generated modules over Gorenstein local rings. A similar result was given by \textit{K. Kimura} et al. [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 54, No. 6, 2456--2468 (2022; Zbl 1520.13016)] over Cohen-Macaulay rings. The author has extended this result for certain algebras over Cohen-Macaulay local rings.
