The authors extend their own findings for absolute summability transformed series (published earlier, see [\textit{E. Savaş} and \textit{B. E. Rhoades}, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 33, No. 7, 1003--1009 (2002; Zbl 1015.40001)]) to bounded double series transformed by triangular matrices. Their results apply to double weighted mean matrices, specifically to double Cesàro matrices.
