Character amenability of vector-valued algebras (Q6542695)

The authors study the notion of character amenability for a class of Banach algebras;\Nin particular, Banach algebras \(A\) of \(A_x\)-valued functions, where \(\{A_{x}:x\in X\}\) is a collection of complex Banach algebras and \(X\) is a compact Hausdorff space. Some general and hereditary results for this class of Banach algebras are established by the authors. Moreover, they\Nestablish some results on the character amenability of \(A\) in connection with the character amenability of \(A_x\).
