The author first discusses the existence of strong, weak and mild solutions to a class of nonlinear second order evolution inclusion Cauchy problems in a Banach space. Then he considers the case when one initial condition is nonlocal. Two examples of initial boundary value problems for second order nonlinear partial differential equations are included.
